How to Create a Fall Vignette by Shopping Your Home

Recently I was asked to create some Fall Centerpieces for a Ladies Day event at my church. Instead of spending the money for supplies, I shopped my home to create some beautiful Fall arrangements. I used various apothecary jars and filled them with pumpkins, apples, raffia, leaves and pinecones. Some of the pumpkins were spray painted with gold and silver spray paint to add additional interest. Click over to my blog for the details and to see how I used a couple of the arrangements to create a Fall Vignette in my own home. http://www.houseontheway.com/easy-fall-vignette-shopping-home/
Use jars and containers that you have throughout your home to fill with fall goodies.
The mix of pumpkins, apples and leaves adds a variety of colors and shapes to the arrangements which add interest.
Raffia also adds additional texture to the vignette.
Some of the pumpkins were painted with gold spray paint. You can add stripes or shapes by using Frog Tape.
