The finials are lovely! I just checked my kitchen cabinet hinges and they have no finials (double demountable with half-inch overlay). Can you post a photo of a cabinet hinge that has a removable finial? I think most modern kitchens have hidden hinges these days, so where would I be most likely to find exposed cabinet hinges?
