A Small but Colourful Toilet Roll Holder

I'm a second hand shop junkie, and love looking for unusual products. On one of my excursions I found this small galvanized container. I was in need of a toilet roll holder, so it was meant for me
I washed it with sugar soap, and gave it a layer of galvo grip. Left it to dry and then gave it a white Acrylic undercoat.
Again my sentimental side went for an English cottage. Also it doesn't bind me to one colour and adds a pop of colour to a small bathroom. I sealed it with a gloss sealer.
3 Toilet rolls fit in perfectly.....

Beautiful! I have a metal can with a lid that my mother said her parents used to store coal for an indoor stove...now I know what I can use it for! ...now I just have to find it somewhere in the garage...if I am not back by supper send in the St. Bernard's!...
