Want to remove ceramic tile kitchen floor

can you tell me the process of removing ceramic tile placed over vinyl flooring with an orange crate rubber like product between ceramic and vinyl?

    Get under them with a flat pry bar, One that has a 3 -4 inch flat part! Then just keep lifting them! We took out tiles in Idaho and then replaced them with new! Not to hard, but be sure you wear eye wear safety glasses!

    thank you so much... did yours have the crate looking pad under it ?? i was hoping this might make it a bit easier.

    That is backer board. All tile floors should have it! Problem is it is either nailed or screwed every six inches or so. It will be a time consuming job!

    When you get down to the vinyl, wear a mask in the event it is the old style that contains asbestos
