Covering a lounge chair

I have a small lounge chair that is peeling off the fake leather. I threw the lounge out a year ago and have finally gotten around to covering the remaining chair. It is an easy project as it is a simple square shape with two square cushions. My question is this... What way can I hold the bottom of the fabric to the chair so it holds firm to the chair shape? I thought of adding long tabs to the bottom edges and tying them up under the chair so the fabric sits tight against the bottom edge. Any other ideas from all you creative people? No photos sorry I can't find my camera.

I would try the self adhesive velcro. The heavy duty type since the lesser type might not hold when people are using the chair due to moving around. It is easy to find. I know Walmart carries it in the Craft Dept.

Yes. I would use Velcro on long straps. Unless you are undoing the Velcro a lot, it should hold for a long time!e.

why can you not just staple it in place? you dont say you want to be able to remove it and that would hold it much firmer than velcro.
