Plastic Spoon Christmas Trees

Christmas is my favorite season and this is by far my favorite Christmas craft - Plastic Spoon Christmas trees. It takes only about 30 minutes to make and costs under $10, maybe less if you have spoons and paint left over from other projects! #Christmas #crafts #plasticspoons #HolidayCheer
Plastic Spoon Trees are a unique and pretty way to decorate on the cheap for the holidays!
First, I cut off the heads of about 100 plastic spoons.
Then, I spray painted the backs and fronts with brown, black, and gold for texture.
Finally, I hot glued them onto a paper mache tree form, starting at the bottom and working my way upward.

I'm off today to fight the mobs to get the supplies for this tree. I'm been wanting to do this for a while. It is outstanding. I'm new to crafts so it should be interesting.

I did this project this year and it turned out really cute, and was so easy! I did mine in solid white with glitter and they looked very elegant!

Hi Sheri, did you paint the spoons white or use as is? It sure would save time if I didn't paint first.

I made six spoon trees last Christmas and they all walked out of the door almost befor the glue was dry, so this year I am making a set for myself and practising saying NO NO NO MINE! They look better than the photos, most people didn't realize the trees
