Garden corner
I'm slowly creating little garden areas in my front yard. Slowly because I'm a mom of four littles, and because we have NO money so all my ideas have to be free. :) this is my latest creation, using plants and items found for free on craigslist, and I'm liking it! (Btw, does anyone know what the tall spiky plants are called?)
Pardon the chair in the background - that is on its way to becoming a different project!

When @Douglas Hunt said they could get large, that's a true statement. I've seen this species get 5-6 feet across and about that tall. However, there are some that are smaller. Tough to know which kind you have.

The cheapest and best way is getting to know your neighbors and get cuttings or plants from them. Nothing to exchange yet? Bake cookies for them!!
