Bathroom walls - they're ugly and I need ideas!

I rent a house with the ugliest walls ever and it's a tiny bathroom. Any ideas?

I have found decals that can be removed when you move. Check out different sites for different types. I will be using a damask pattern in mine!
I used a stencil in one of our bathrooms it turned out really nice, and it's great using something so detailed in a small area, because you don't have a large area to do, so your small amount of work can make a big impact.
