Pretty Neutrals Tablescape

While this tablescape was just used for our Thanksgiving day dinner, with a few switch-outs (eg. napkins, placemats, pumpkins) it'll be a great starting point for your Christmas table too! I like to use neutrals because it works well with the colors in my home. Plus that way, the food always is the star! :-)
White tablecloth, black and white striped napkins used as placemats. (Hint: For a table that seats 6, a twin sized bedsheet fits perfectly.)
Silver chargers, white plates, vintage flatware and pretty white Battenburg lace napkins all add up to a stylish neutral tablescape.
Vintage glassware holds tea lights and Dollar Tree store baubles in gold and clear giving the table a pretty glow even in sunlight. Real pine cones and little painted faux pumpkins speak to the traditional ideas of Thanksgiving.
Fresh rosemary tucked into each napkin ring adds a little fragrance to enhance the turkey's wonderful aroma...also cooked with rosemary. The 1950's pretty vintage flatware was my mother in law's. It still very stylish today.
Gold and silver brushed metal napkin rings work nicely with a very neutral color scheme.
To use this tablescape for Christmas, all you need to do is remove the faux mini-pumpkins and replace with some other little adornment. Maybe some berry sprigs (real or faux), some other greenery, etc. Let your imagination run wild and be creative.
