This super easy sewing project was a lot of fun! I used it to teach my 6 year old son how to use the iron and the sewing machine and he made this almost entirely by himself. I use the bag all the time!
1 package of bias tape, a colorful handkerchief and some thread!
There is no measuring and no pattern needed! Simply fold the handkerchief in half, iron then cut on the fold.
Set one half aside. Fold the remaining piece in half, iron and cut. Then hold over about 3 inches on each one, iron and cut. Toss the tiny pieces.
Edge the tops of the pockets with bias tape...
Pin the pockets onto the un-cut half of the handkerchief with the taped edges toward each other.
Edge the whole thing with bias tape!
