Too Many Pine Cones In Your Yard? Make a DIY Pinecone Wreath

Easy
I had so much fun making this DIY pinecone wreath inspired by having way too many pinecones in our yard. It is fun and easy and the kids can join in too! I love projects that use items we have an abundance of around our lil' homestead it appeals to my frugal nature!
This is what the finished product looks like! Ribbons are not my area of expertise but the better you are with ribbons I think the better the finished product will look!
Materials I used to make this project! Floral Wire, foam wreath, gold tule, glue sticks, elmers glue and glitter! I love glitter!
Pinecones we collected around our yard.
Before I go forward with this project I lay all the pinecones around the foam wreath and then I hot glue them on but I later found out I had to wire tie them on with the floral wire as well.

I too have pine cones I collected to do a wreath.

I gathered them, set them in the sun to completely dry & hopefully get rid of any bugs.

When I picked them up to bring them in, the sap was all over them & me! šŸ˜£

What did I do OR not do to prevent this?

I SO want to do a wreath but that sap is a mess.

I tossed the cones & had to use goo gone to get it off my hands. šŸ˜ž
