Gardening in November

We had a week of snow here in Pennsylvania. One bright morning, I went out for a walk to see the unusual sights that come from having snow this early in the year...
Our Rose in November snow.
Snow on our climbing rose.
The Hill Garden with Echinacea seedheads, bright red Berberis and yellow leaves from the neighbor's maple.
Our front border highlighted with snow.
Perennial Foxglove Digitalis grandiflora by the fence.
Our Driveway Garden with Rose of Sharon and ornamental grass.
Miscanthus sinensis 'Dixieland' dripping with snow.
Lamium maculatum is one plant that flowers 8 months out of the year. More importantly for me, it makes a nice evergreen ground cover under my border plantings.
