Wow, very classy, and relaxing. Curious to know how often you use the soaker tub. People keep asking if they should just tear out the tub and go with a custom shower for the master bath. Not sure if there are too many people that still take baths.
Beautiful bathroom. I am in the process or redoing my bathroom and your style looks similiar to mine . Curios to know what was the budget for this project.
Steve G.....I do use my tub as I have fibromyalgia and it really helps for the pain...I didn't put in the jets though as my prior tub had them and I never really used them. managed to get a little more space out of our tiny shower by extending it from original 3 x3 to 3 x 3.5 (interior dimentions) by moving it closer to the toilet and cutting off the corner so the door opens from there...the frameless glass makes it appear larger.
Newton, the budget was $25K or so but we used travertine in the shower, a custom cabinet maker who made the cabinets from scratch, solid wood and also the tub deck is granite so $$$ could be saved in all these areas.
BTW, my cabinet maker (fabulous if you're in the Raleigh area) did all the work with the exception of wiring and plumbing. I acted as my own GC.
Looks beautiful. Where did you find your oil rubbed bronze plumbing fixtures? We put travertine in our master bath and want to switch from chrome to what you have.
Thanks for answering my question, Donna. Glad to hear that you are able to find some pain relief, and good to know people still appreciate a nice soak.
C, my cabinet guy is Marvin Weathers of Weathercraft in Raleigh. He does custom cabinets from start to finish.....great work and highly recommended. He also did our office remodel...will be glad to post some photos of his work there as well

Great workmanship and choice of colors, I guess the latter credit goes to you.
