Vintage Book Holder for the Nursery

Books are one thing you can never have enough of for your littles and already with a 10 month old, I'm realizing they're taking over my daughter's nursery
. We don't have room for a huge bookshelf, so I've created a few smaller options on places to store all her books.
I found this cute little vintage magazine holder at the thrift store and thought it would be perfect to hold some books in the nursery. But it needed a little updating first!
I spray painted the outside part white and spray painted the inside holder gold.
For a small project like this, my HomeRight spray shelter worked great. It shields your piece from the wind and helps contain the spray paint within the tent area.
Once I let the paint dry, it was time to bring it into the nursery and fill it with books! I love that you can still see the names of them easily and they add a little pop of color to the space.

It definitely doesn't hold all her books, but it's a good spot to put our current favorites for easy access! I love how a little paint can totally transform a piece.

And it looks great next to my little blue dresser
