I want to make an outdoor chrismas village.

It needs to be light enough so I can carry/move it myself. I need lightweight material that is weatherproof and can withstand wind and rain during the holiday season. It can be just fronts, as I just want to arrange it so cars can see it passing by. I want to start out with 1 or 2 this year and continue building more. About 3-4 feet tall. Any help you can be would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried looking in stores like Walmart, Pier 1 imports or Marshals? Marshals usually has a decent amount of holiday decorations around this time.

There is a product called Paverpol that I just love. It is a liquid that works with cotton fabric to make it solid and waterproof. You can make wire forms of your houses then wrap them completely with Paverpoll soaked fabric. Once dry they can stand up to the elements. Look it up online to find a seller nearest to you!

If you have access to a sign store, there are corrugated plastics pieces, much like cardboard, but waterproof. I made a snowman silhouette for my desert home out of foam core from the crafts store. I punched holes all around the edges & inserted little white lights, just taping the cords to the back. Hope this helps!
