Has anyone removed a fitted bathtub unit and made a walk-in shower in its place?

, I did on both bathrooms. I never like bath tubs, but large showers, and that is what I did.
I have a great handyman and he removed the t ubs, tiled the entire bathroom floor to ceiling
and floor, built a seat, installed tempered glass sliding doors, and I just love it.
I had a huge garden tub that I hated, it was hard to get in or out and took forever to fill up. I had it taken out and my handy man replaced it with a 5 foot walk in shower kit from Lowe's. It has 2 sliding doors and a bench to sit down. Moved shower connection, no tile work or anything. I love it.
Yes, I had it done by Bath Fitters and I love the extra shower space, the folding seat and the large shower heads.
