I have bought mine many different places: local health food stores, ebay and direct from the manufacturers website. But I've been using EO's for awhile so know my pricing pretty good. ;) My main suggestion would be to find a reputable company that you like. You DO NOT have to buy from a well-known company in order to get top EO's. Also, "therapuetic grade" essential oils mean nothing. The FDA does not grade EO's - this is a term that was coined by MLM companies to make their EO's seem superior. I run from any company that suggests people ingest EO only because you need to have a lot of training in order to properly use EO's this way. There are a lot of great companies out there. I frequently buy from Aura Cacia and NOW, but there are many, many others. Good luck!

I use and sell Young Living Essential Oils. I love their "seed to seal" guarantee. This was hugely important to me because of the health and wellness for my family. It is scary to see 100% pure on label of other EOs, when they only may be 5% required by the FDA and the rest being filled with additives/fillers.

I buy mine from Amazon and Thrive mostly; in a pinch, I'll spend the extra money at the local co-op. Brands I like - NOW is really well priced and good quality. Aura Cacia is a bit pricey but very good quality. I buy Dessert Essence Tea Tree oil and it works great. I have extremely sensitive skin and make my own deodarant with apricot kernel oil and essential oils. Thrive Market (http://thrv.me/bjmwfriends), which is an online grocery store for healthy food and natural products has their own line of EOs which are great too. I love Thrive and highly recommend them. Thrive also has a blog with articles and recipes to DIY beauty products that I find immensely helpful.
