Picture Frame to plant holder

How do you keep water from accidently draining through the frame? Do you cover the bottom with something other than the cardbord? Is the glass still in the frame?

If you want to make an open planner just take 5 frames that are the same size. I prefer to use wood frames but people often use plastic. You need to take out the piece of glass and glue it to the frame. You can discard any of the papers and/or cardboard that comes with it or save it for another project. Once you glue the glass to each of the picture frames with E 6000 glue, use same glue and glue each picture frame to each other ... so that it forms a perfect square and then you also have a frame on the bottom. That's how your 5 frames will be placed to make a planter out of frames.... one on the bottom and four for the sides. You can also add an additional frame to the top... If you wanted to turn it into a Terrarium.
