1. Clean your vehicle. Create a mild baking soda solution of 1/4 cup soda in 1 quart of warm water. Apply the solution to clean your car lights, windows, chrome parts , vinyl seats or car mats.
2. Remedy for cold sores. Take care for cold sores by dabbing the wound with baking soda. 3. Fix stinking ashtrays. Combine equal parts of white sand and baking soda. Pour the mixture into your home ashtrays. This helps diffuse the odour from cigarette butts as well as neutralize smoke inside your home.
4. Prepare luggage freshener. Foul-smelling luggage case can be freshened up by sprinkling baking soda inside it. Close the piece and let sit for a couple of days.
