I love my HAAN steamer. The water gets to above 212 F so it sanitizes as it cleans. The washable pads are durable and can just be tossed into your washer. Much better than the Shark I tried out!

I just asked this question less than a week ago and only got a couple recommendations so I went on line and started researching. Seems the Bissell PowerFresh Steam Mop got unbelievably fantastic reviews on every site I looked at--almost perfect 5s--which is really unusual for small appliances to receive such rave reviews. When I placed my order several days ago, Amazon and Target seemed to have the best prices so I went ahead and ordered one from Amazon. Got it for $85.00 but I see it's now something like $122.00! Target's price is still $89.99 and I think it qualifies for free shipping. If you are interested in ordering extra pads, Amazon's price was better than Target's. Here's the link for the steam mop at Target in case you are interested in checking it out. http://www.target.com/p/bissell-powerfresh-steam-mop-1940/-/A-14290226#prodSlot=medium_1_1&term=Bissell+PowerFresh+Steam+Mop

We bought a Shark steam cleaner from Costco about one year ago on sale. We love it as it does the job very well. It comes with two pads which can be removed and washed in the machine. The only flaw I found was the wire was a bit too thin and becomes warm after using 15 minutes. They should have used a heavier gauge . Overall satisfied.

I also love the shark steam mop. I got it for free when I bought my Shark vacuum online. I bought extra pads, so when I get energetic, I can do all the wood floors and tile in my house. Sadly I don't get that energetic that often. haha.
