Cutting the Cable Cord

Well, We DID IT! No more cable which means no more cable bill! Our bill kept creeping up and before I knew it we were paying over $100 a month. We pledged to save more money this year and here is another way we're cutting corners. My handy hubby said installation was so easy...I could have done it! (that must be simple!) It is set up in the attic so no one can see it from the outside ruining our curb appeal! Learn how on the blog!
With Hulu, Netflix and other streaming services many people are cutting the cord! It's EASY to Do It Yourself!
I am a researcher....I always want to make sure I buy something that other people have had success with. I found a great site with lots of information about the top 10 HD Antennas. (Head to the blog for the web site)
We bought our antenna from Amazon and decided to go with the RCA ANT751. The directions were great and it was installed within 30 minutes!
Now we get almost 30 HD channels for FREE and that makes this saving girl smile from ear to ear! Read more money saving tips on the blog!

I live in a rural area in Montana...25 miles from Butte (on the west) and 55 miles from Helena (north) or Bozeman (east). Lots of mountains to the south. I'd love to drop my satellite company, but just haven't done it because I don't want to be left with so few channels that I'd sign up again out of frustration. I've been looking into antennas, but don't know what to look for. I'd appreciate any ideas you might have for me. I love a lot of channels that I would probably miss a great deal. ID, Hallmark, HGTV, DIY, etc.
