DIY Birdseed Cakes for Bird Feeders

I'm giving a new bird feeder a try this year called the Birdola Stacker. It's designed so you can stack different types of round birdseed cakes on it and attract more types of birds. I came up with a recipe so I could make my own refill stacker cakes for this feeder, but I'm sure this recipe could be used to make any type of hanging birdseed ornament as well. And while I was at it, I adapted another recipe so I could make some more square cakes for another one of my bird feeders.
So this one is for all the other bird lovers here at Hometalk! You can get the complete recipes for these two types of birdseed cakes on my blog at the link below.
My DIY stacker cakes all ready to go on my new bird feeder
I cut off the tops of large plastic cups to use as molds for the round stacker birdseed cakes
I made another recipe too that you spread out in a 9x13 pan and then cut in squares
That recipe makes 6 squares that fit perfectly in the square cages for suet cakes on bird feeders
