WHAT'S BEHIND THE RED DOOR?

I love old doors. I use them everywhere. They hide my A/C units, barn door is a headboard, an old shed door is the entry to my bathroom and this funky beauty is used as a room divider of sorts, separating my refrig from my kitchen seating area.
She stared out with an ancient but boring coat of chippy green paint.
A fresh coat of warm barn red made her happy and me too.
Happier yet, when a coat of dark stain and a good rub made her look ancient but beautiful.
The finished door fits perfectly and does the job intended with ease.
We mounted her to a nice old board from our wooden ceiling.
I am ready for my close-up Mr. DeMill.
Architectural elements, old hooks, glass door knob and an old handle dressed her up nicely. The chalk board can be used for notes or just a bit of whimsy.
