What is a good decorative item to use on a single glass corner shelf

There is a single glass corner shelf on my living room wall. I currently have a clear glass vase that sometimes has flowers in it but it seems a little off to me (clear on clear- random plant..). Feels like I should have something understated and classic with maybe a slight pop of color. Current colors in the room are beige, white, black, and a little blue. Maybe something blue would work? All suggestions are appreciated!

A small vase may be a good option but maybe try something blue glass instead of clear?

Naomi, have you thought about incorporating mirrors? I just love the look of mirrors on glass!

    Key chains might be nice.

How about a pop of color? Something in the red/orange or cranberry with that color combination you have. Or even a lime green? A round vase...one of those that sort of look like a ball! (get it...round in a square corner?)

@Jeanette S I love the concept of round in a square corner though i'm a little bit nervous about the cranberry color not being echoed anywhere else in the room- but maybe that will be an excuse to add some more colorful things...? Thanks for the tip!

Keep in mind that when you are looking for another color, the theory is to look across the color wheel...and from blue that is red-ish (cranberry, burgundy,etc.)...all you need to do is find the right shade to blend.
