Super Easy Modern Christmas Tree Art

6 Materials
If you are looking for something a little less traditional for your Christmas Decor this year, have a look at how to make this easy Black/Gold Christmas Print in as little as 15 minutes!
I started with an 8x10 canvas. Using a tea light as a pattern, I drew circles on the canvas for the body of the tree.
Using black and white baker's twine, I made circle swirls to match the size of the circles I drew on the canvas. I painted on a thin layer of Elmer's Glue on the top of each circle and set them aside to dry. The glue helped to keep the circles from unwinding and to retain their shape.
I used glitter gold washi tape and attached stripes of glitter gold across the canvas.
I used household glue to attach the dried baker's twine circles to the canvas. Using a stamp and black ink, I stamped the word Joy underneath the circles to act as the trunk of the tree.
To finish it off, I used hot glue to attach a star above the tree. I popped my Christmas Art into a frame for display.

The star I used was obtained at the Dollar Store. I bought a package of star wands in the little girl party section. Using a pair of scissors, I cut off the wand handle.
I love my new Christmas Art! If you would rather use more traditional colors - go for it!
