Reinventing a Goodwill Table Into a Chic Nightstand

I lucked in and snagged this little table at Goodwill for $12. It needed a little paint and polish to get her looking pretty but it was just an afternoon's worth of work. I think our new nightstand looks great! I would love to share with you how I did it!
I think the white color highlights the bamboo details.
I found this table at Goodwill for $12.00! I walked past her a couple of times before I decided to bring her home. So glad I did!
I gave the table a good cleaning first with a little soapy water.
Instead of sanding, I used a liquied sander deglosser. I love this product! I followed it up with two coats of Rustoleum high gloss white.
I used Krylon's Mirror Finish spray paint to turn glam up the plain glass. I applied 7 coats of the paint as it must be applied lightly.
This is a closer picture of the glass finish.
Luckily, the caning was in perfect condition.
It is the perfect size and complement to my bedroom which is filled with dark furniture. The white and mirror finish sparkles up the space!

I have a similar Goodwill find with a glass top and I love the idea of the mirror finish. Did you spray it on the UNDERSIDE of the glass or right on top?

How hard was it to paint the caning? I love the mirror finish and want to do it on the glass in the middle of a coffee table. Thanks for sharing.

Great job, thank you for posting. I have small table with glass insert, place piece of lace under it, since bottom not in good shape, now can rid of old lace spray paint to look like mirror. Thx
