Coffee Cozies You Can Make With Dollar Store Socks

Here are some cute Coffee Cozies you can make with Dollar Store socks. It's chilly in so many areas and people are snowed in, right now and so make up a batch of hot cocoa or grab your favorite coffee or hot cocoa at Starbucks or where ever you like to go and put a cozy on it. These are super fun for kids (or teens like mine) because kids always love that something that makes them feel special. Also if you have more then one like my brothers family with twins it makes it easy to distinguish, your's is the red and hers is the white etc.
These are super fun and easy to make and as a mom of a teenage daughter they make great gifts for friends too. They literally cost .25 cents each to make and are super easy too. I know this isn't exactly Home Improvement but who can even think about Diy without a little coffee, right?? ....lol...and anything that makes life a little easier or fun, why not.
My daughter LOVES coffee and Starbucks of course!! She is so easy to buy for now and all her friends love it too. So when we were talking about what gifts she could give them for Xmas & Valentines Day we came up with these. Some fun coffee cozies, some Starbucks gift cards and some mis-matched socks to go with them.
And of course if you don’t have to be a Starbucks fan, you can just be a coffee, tea or hot cocoa lover too. I found the cup on left at the Dollar Store and you can add in your own paper for the season, have your kids color on paper and make them for grandma and grandpa……the skies the limit here.
Start with some fun festive socks. Each pair makes 4 cozies. Cut socks like this! Use the two big pieces and discard the rest. Loosely blind stitch your hems on each end. This literally takes a matter of minutes.
Voila!! Our weather has really been chilly and in many areas freezing for you. It is so nice to see people bundled up in coats and boots here. I’m in sunny Cal where it was almost 80 degrees last week. I welcome the chilly weather and am going to light a fire later and make some hot cocoa too. By the way, I'm not one that hits Starbucks daily, I’m a gal on a budget and my favorite is Don Fransisco Vanilla Nut. It is soooo yummy!!! You have to try it sometime. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day, Lisa.

This must be an older post. Her web site is gone and has been taken over by godaddy. That can happen when you have a change in your life and have to take down your web site. Somebody bought my old web site and turned it into a place when you can find things similar to what I had but it's like a mini-search engine. Once you click on the new links ads will come up and they will make some money. People who run a business like that, do it all the time.

Still a great idea. I like putting a gift card in the toe. 😇💞
