Vintage Skate Swag

Have you started your holiday decorating yet? You are going to love this Vintage Skate Swag that was shared at Garden Therapy this week by John Gillespie and Christina Symons. It was a great project from their book, Everyday Eden: 100+ Fun, Green Garden Projects for the Whole family to enjoy. Let's take a look at how they put it together...

Get that old pair of skates out of the basement and make a beautiful piece of holiday decor!
Clean off the skates and replace the strings with garden twine.
Find two mason jars that will fit inside the skates. This will hold the cuttings.
Gather your cuttings. Visit the blog post for ideas and tips. Clean off the skates and replace the strings with garden twine.
Don't you just love it?! Happy Holidays!

I have a pair of children's skates I had when I was 5....over 55 years old. They are displayed in my bedroom, but now they will be displayed with Christmas greenery and the such. Thanks for bringing my skates out from under a bench. I will display them proudly.
