This year, my husband went deer hunting with my dad for a week. While he was gone, I got out the paint brushes and rollers, and I painted the entire kitchen. Then, as if painting the entire kitchen wasn't enough, I decided to paint the cabinets too!
I had planned on taking my time, because after all, I had a week. My plan was to take it slow and do a little bit at a time. Well, that plan went out the window as soon as I started rolling on the paint. I ended up staying up until 3 A.M. painting the first night my husband was gone, and then I just couldn't stop...
The kitchen walls and cabinets were painted with Valspar Signature Paint + Primer. Then the cabinets were given a coat of Varathane polyurethane Heavy Use Formula for extra durability.

The upper cabinets were painted a couple years ago. Now the lower cabinets have been painted to match. www.Small.MomentsWithLoribeth.com
Another view of how my kitchen changed. You can see the baseboards, the walls and the cabinets were painted.
The cabinet hardware was changed. This meant filling in the original hole for the knobs.
Beadboard wallpaper was added to the fronts of the cabinet doors and then painted with Valspar Signature paint and primer. Polyurethane was used as a final coat for added durability.

I love what you can do in that period of time. Come to my place and give me ideas I'm horrible at it because I am perfectionist and it holds me back from expressing myself. Wow looks like a entirely different kitchen. Great job!!
