I hang all my sweaters and delicate blouses on thick hangers but they are turned inside out. It prevents the frustrating hanger marks.

If you find that any article of clothing has hanger bulges all you need to do is put the garment on, lightly dampen a wash cloth, put the cloth on the area and the bulge will go away. Repeat if needed. This works for me every time.

  • Great tips! I splurged over the last few years and purchased Joy Mangano hangers on HSN. Will snap a few photos to show undr separate over. For me, they really work.

Like Mommy Dearest said No wire hangers!" Buy wooden or plastic. Try Goodwill for the wooden ones and even the dollar stores sell the plastic ones. If you have something that you really need to protect tape rolled paper towels to the top ends where the shoulder and sleeves would be.
