Use a soft rag & some Bar Keepers Friend cleansing powder. Moisten wrag with a little water & rub rust stains away. When done, seal cleaned area to keep water from causing it to rust again. Spray clear polyurethane over area 2 or 3 times & let thoroughly dry. Rust be gone.

You can try using CLR, or soak the area with some salt and vinegar into a paste or Lemon and salt into a paste. Rub into the stain and leave on until the rust is removed.

I'll try those, thank you! It's an older tub and quite pitted. Comet got some of it out, but not quite all.

Barkeepers friend, if it's really bad use a pumice stone. But try not to use the pumice stone unless you have to as it could damage the finish on the tub.

Barkeepers friend...got it. I know that's similar to Comet, but it's worth a shot! Thank you!
