Want to make a wreath out of bin bags. Cut the bags up into strips of 8cmx15cm, tie with a single tie onto a wire coat hanger that has been shaped in to a circle. Continue until the hanger is thick with the plastic bin bag ties. Decorate with baubles and bow.

What is a bin bag? Do you mean the types of bags from Walmart or something else?

Unfortunately, plastic is killing us. This same concept could be done with other materials. I'm thinking crepe paper or various other kinds of paper, which could later go in recycle bin. Someone mentioned painting gold on the tips. I'm imagining this on paper bags with pine cone decorations.

Yes plastic is killing us. But better as a decoration than land fill.

You can do the same effect using net or other non fraying fabric

Bin is a garbage container. That is what garbage cans are in England.

Sorry got the message to late for this Christmas. But if you want to make for next year . Take a trash bag cut it into strips approx 21cm x6cm. You will need approx five bags. Take one strip and tie onto a wire coat hanger that's been shaped into a circle. One tie knot only. Continue until the wire is so full you can't put on any more bag strips. Then decorate with baubles, beads and ribbon.
