I baked mine at 250 for 2 hours then left them over night. I then mod podge over it 1-3 times and it's been golden.

These markers above are supposed to be specifically for that. They are a bit pricey, and because of that, I haven't used them myself. I have used the following ones and they work pretty good. I only had a few spots that were iffy. But I don't think I cleaned with alcohol like i should have before using. I did not have to mod podge to get it to stay.

I've had great success just using old time enamel paints (if you can still find them). I have Christmas glass that are at least 8 years old (hand wash) but staying nicely.
Glass is slick and nothing will stay forever unless it is fired on and bonds with the glass. good luck
