Home Depot and other hardware stores have wonderful mirror trim that is easy to install. I did mine in white trim due to my white molding and love it.

We did the tiles on five different bathroom mirrors. We used mosaic tiles to minimize cutting and adjusted the spacing as needed. The mesh on the back of the tiles helps with spacing. We used a product called SimpleMat, available in Home Depot or Lowes; it is a two sided adhesive which is applied to the mirror, then the tiles are stuck to it.

For a natural look cut up circles of wood and stick around mirror.

Cut up wooden pencils and stick on for a child's room.

Make flowers from egg boxes, then paint.
