Wino Snowman

I had one hour to make a decoration. all I had was a wine bottle, a glue gun, glue, a piece of brown felt, some buttons, a white ribbon and my paint....
Presto,
Wino the snowman!

I started painting the bottle white by pouncing my brush onto the wine bottle.

I did not wan the colour solid

I cut a circle and a rectangle of brown felt to make the hat. I cut a cross in the circle part and slid it over the bottle neck and then added the rectangle to make a stovepipe hat and glued it.

The hat is on!

since I only had brown felt ( yards and yards of it) I cut holly leaves out of it and painted them green

I took a piece of 'ribbon' about 15 inches long and..

painted it!

I had lots of buttons to chose eyes and buttons from...

I glued on his eyes and scarf then used my glue gun to make his mouth making "bumps" of glue to look like coal and a piece of a glue stick partly melted and painted orange for the nose.

Wino!

Wino again!

Are those button on top of the hat too? This is precious. I like the idea of another reader to do this treatment when gifting a bottle
