I Have some blue staining on the toilet bowl interior that won't go away. Used some of that Lysol blue and let it set before cleaning. Any tips to make that go away? I haven't tried anything except a brush and a cloth. didn't want to add anything til sure it could work. Thanks Gang! You're awesome!

Try comet and try scrubbing it out. Or a bit of muratic acid. It has grabbed onto the hard water build up which as probably etched your toilet. You can also use a prumice stone get the hard water off and I think you will see the dye go away. I have to admit it is the worse toilet bowl cleaner when it comes to dye. I had some of it splash on my toilet seat, okay I was sloppy but it dyed it. Had to replace it drove me crazy. I don't know why they do that to us!

Have you tried Clorox Kitchen Cleaner in the spray bottle? (Do not get bathroom cleaner by Clorox becasue it is not as good!) I love this stuff...it is better than straight Clorox! Were I you, I would clean the toilet as usual. turn the water off and then flush. This will not let water into the bowl. I would then spray the bowl with this product and let it sit a few minutes to see if it is going to work. It cleans my white sink where the glaze is gone when nothing else will! It is not expensive so it is worth a try!

@Sherrie you are so right! It's cruel when it sits on the lid too. Add to that, my hubby had helped me out and I HATE to complain, sounds so ungrateful when I do ;) I'll try the comet Thanks!!! . @Jeanette, thanks for your tips too! I've got one of the Clorox cleaners, probably the one I don't need! Emptying it fully is a great idea to try regardless of the product I use..

Cheri my husband helps clean the kitchen, half if it's done and one day the food was in the crock right next to the sink and he left it out all night, and the stove and counter tops on the other side....he can't see it! So the next morning it's hard and gummy. So now I do double duty. I clean behind him! It is nice they help. I don't think he could ever live up to my standards but if I left it up to him no one would ever eat in my kitchen!
