This tutorial comes to you from , Hi I'm Sarah and I’m here to share a simple update that you can make to any dated lamp. I picked up an old lamp for only .97 at my local Goodwill. It needed to be re-wired, but such a great find for the price! Thrifting has definitely been my favorite part about moving to Ohio!Come see more on this lamp http://www.infarrantlycreative.net/2013/11/gold-and-white-ombre-thrifted-lamp.html
The final result!
I started with this wood and brass lamp. The finish was worn, so painting was a quick and easy option to update it.
I lightly sanded to remove the shiny surface and then wiped off the dust with a micro fiber cloth.
Now for the gold ombre effect!
I started by spraying the bottom section holding the can parallel with the lamp.
