This book I used was being thrown out by a thrift shop so I reused it and saved it from the trash!
This book was "Gone with the wind" done in 1936!!!so the book was falling a part and headed for the trash. so I saved it and made it into a BOOK WREATH for my book loving daughter for Christmas! Can't wait to give it to her~ You'll need a wreath base too! re purpose stuff around the house. This wreath is SUPER LIGHT!
carefully rip each page out and you'll need a sturdy pencil. These pages kept crumbling and ripping because they are so old. so take some patience if you use an old book.
Place the eraser in the middle of each page and squeeze it all together around the pencil. careful not to rip the top!
Place some hot glue on top and press it into your base for the wreath.

Make sure you fill it in on the sides and leave room to make a hook from fabric or rope. and once it's filled in your done!
Here it is all done, waiting for Christmas to give it to my daughter
Suggested materials:

The book was headed for their dumpster.. chunks of pages gone. Pages ripped. I just reused it in a form that will be looked at daily vs being in the dumpster or box put away that no one will use. Im sorry you dont like what ive done with it. :(
