The holidays are right around the corner so now is the perfect time to finish up your last-minute gift wrapping! Store bought gift tags and decorations can be boring, tacky, and expensive. Our DIY gift tags are easy to make and will make your gifts stand out! In the photo above we featured different design ideas for every person on your Christmas list and broke down the steps on how to make one of these gift tags with the Cricut! Finally, we included a few DIY Christmas decorations to use around your home to celebrate the season below!

Our simple yet colorful gift tag is perfect for brightening up your gift! We picked out sparkly red card stock and fed that into the Cricut to cut out a Christmas themed design. After this, we cut white card stock for the background of the red card stock we previously cut. The white background lets the red card stock stand out while still sticking with the colors of the season. Next we sprayed adhesive on the back of the red sparkly card stock and glued it to the white background. We allowed this to dry and then attached it to matching gift wrap and bow. As you can see, it adorned our gift with a beautiful sparkle!

Our DIY paper reindeer is the perfect decoration for your table or tree. It only takes three easy steps to complete: cut the template out of your choice of card stock with the Cricut, punch out the cutout from the card stock, and then make the deer stand with the two smaller pieces. You could also cut out eight of these reindeer and one with a red nose to have a complete reindeer set for a festive table centerpiece.

Lastly, we made a holiday themed wine bottle gift tag. We picked out red card stock to use with the Cricut to cut out the phrase “merry & bright” and ornaments. Next we used the Cricut to cut out the shape for the base of the tag from a template we made using the Cricut software. We chose to use sparkly silver card stock to contrast from the red card stock lettering. Next we sprayed the merry & bright cutout and ornament cutout with adhesive and pressed it onto the silver card stock base. Then we simply folded the top so it fit perfectly onto a wine bottle.
