Because of your age or age of walls? I don't see a photo.

What are your thoughts on wallpaper?

You might paint the lower half, up as high as you are comfortable with a different and add a chair rail to divide the two colors. I might go with a soft beige, white or a dark hunter green, all depending on the size of the bath and your preference. Good Luck.

What if you added some narrow shelving? I would go darker, like chocolate brown, and add some pretty storage boxes, etc to draw the eye away from the pink. Would follow up with a shower curtain that complements the shelf items. (In other words, create a new focal point that is bolder than the walls.) Best wishes!

Thanks Kathy, you've given me a great suggestion that I really like and I think doable!

Many on line stores and , I think, Target sell peel and stick wallpaper. It's goes on easy and comes off easily without damaging your walls. You could choose a paper that looks like beadboard (in white) and do the lower 2/3 of your bathroom walls. I'd then add an over-the-toilet shelf (sits behind your toilet) and fill it with pretty towels rolled up and a decorative accent on the top shelf. Another option would be to install floating shelves. If you still have a bare wall, choose some nice prints to hang.

And if you put up shelves change shower curtain and if you can the soap dish or pump and the kleenex so that now you have a brand new bath without painting. Change towels and bath mat as well all to match the new color. Chocolate would be great with pink, like a candy from Fannie Mae.

Perhaps some pictures for the wall, or changing your window and shower curtain if you have one or both in your room.
