How can I make roller blinds?

I bought some heavy and wide fabric to make curtains for some large windows. But, I am now thinking that roller blinds would be better as the windows are i the back of the house and I only close the curtains/blinds to reduce drafts at night. Any advice on making blinds?

i had an old roller blind, i removed the fabric then used the old fabric as a template for the replacement, i then glued the new fabric to the roller blind job done! hope thats of some help x

  I've done this too. I used the anti-fray ''glue'' on the edges. You could also make roman blinds, or fake ones.
