because of the separation of the flooring and the under structure, sub flooring and flooring! This is also may have to due with the age of the Mobil home. There is apossibility of a leak under the house ofr dishwasher, ice box water line or any other water use component that could leak that is close to the dinning room!

Thse are the only thing s I would look at first and foremost as of my knowledge of construction and floor replacement in s few mobile homes and houses! Wish you luck with your problem! Hope this helps you out

is it soft? can you 'bounce' on it? have somebody go under it and check it out..might be rotting, which mh floors do..some have their subfloors replaced usually when selling, for good reason..do you have someone that is experienced in mh's to take a peek at it? There is also a plethora of information you can get from a fb site called: " 'I LOVE MANUFACTURED/MOBILE HOMES!!!! " which I belong to..there are several people on there that are EXTREMELY knowledgeable ... see facebook.

Mobile home floors are bolted to the I beams under the home, a socket and ratchet is how I stopped the squeaks in mine, but that was in 1969.
