Does anyone know how to get Christmas lights to twinkle?

I don't know if they all have the ability to twinkle. I think it might be a different type of light entirely.

Typically, you'll find a little plastic pkg with additional bulbs in the pkg with the lights. If you find a clear bulb with a red tip, that is the bulb that will make the string 'twinkle' or blink. Try replacing any bulb on the string with that bulb and hopefully it will work for you!

What is the difference between twinkling and blinking? You can buy an adaptor to make lights blink but never heard of twinkling.
