What can I do with aluminum food trays?

I have aluminum (I think) food trays for casseroles. I wonder what kind of drawers they could be used for in the kitchen or in the office at home. I retrieved some from the trash at church the other day after a luncheon was served and used them to sort papers in my office. I cannot stand to throw them away (at least to some degree) but they could be handy.

If they are the type I am thinking about they are thin enough to cut with strong shears. You can cut the bottoms into strips about an inch and a half wide, fold over half an inch to make a rounded side, and make your own cookie cutter shapes with them I've seen instructions on line, they mostly used tape to hold them but you could use a rivet or small crafting grommet. They also work for clay.

Spray paint and use for light-weight storage. Or, cut them up for Christmas stars. OR...(lol) cut to height, punch holes in them and use as luminaries (by them selves, inide or outside of a glass votive...etc.

I recycle them with my aluminum cans.
