Failed Christmas Ornament Wreath...

I'd always loved the look of a Christmas Ornament Wreath. I spotted some ornaments in gallon ziplocs at a local thrift store - they were in good condition so I grabbed every bag they had. $5 and I got about 75 ornaments. Woohoo! So I sat down and watched a tutorial on how to make a wreath using Christmas ornaments. Unfortunately, the one I watched said to remove all the hanging parts of the ornament and then hot glue the ornaments to a metal wreath frame. It looked great for about a week... maybe less. Then they started coming off. Thankfully, I still had it on our guestroom bed - admiring my handiwork.. icon
So I have all the ornaments - just no hanging things to attach the hooks to like all the tutorials I've watched since tell you to use. icon

Anyone have any ideas on how to salvage all these Christmas ornaments and make a wreath that will stay together? I know Christmas is over - but I want to get this project fixed and put away ready for next year.

HELP????

Use a plain artificial green wreath and hot glue them to it.

I agree with Rose. I took a plain artificial green wreath and hot glued ornaments etc., to it.

Is it possible you used the lower heat glue sticks by accident? Also, believe it or not, there are different types of styrofoam wreaths. If you wrap the wreath with wide ribbon or burlap or another fabric, the hot glue will adhere better, and use a lot of glue. I use toothpicks to make the ornaments stay where I want them so the glue has the ornament base to start building up the glue foundation. 🎅🏼
