What is the best way to paint old LPs?

What can I use to paint old LPs that will keep the look, but change the color (yeah, I know, they won't work after that). Now if only I could find a whole lot of the pretty red ones....

I still have a collection along with a bunch of 45's. Yep! I 'd use spray paint for plastic. Several light coats for best coverage.
what a great idea painting some old vinyl. We have about 10 or 12 oldies and last year we built a tiki bar. They would make great decorations for the walls
Actually vinyl is coming back. Some of the recent artists are recording on vinyl.
