Nature Inspired Holiday Decor

A quick walk around the garden helped me put together my Christmas decor this year. Using boxwood, cedar, pine and weeping cypress clippings as a base, I added a burlap bow, some hydrangeas and a grapevine wreath to give my urns a natural look.
Using what I had on hand and adding some natural elements like burlap ribbon and a grapevine ball gave the urns by the front door a natural casual look.
This year, we pared back the look and decided against cedar roping around the door. With a cleaner look to the house after painting and removing some wrought iron railings, the natural look fits nicely.
A simple bow made by folding and securing a heavy burlap ribbon anchors the greenery.
Repeating the natural look by adding clippings and more burlap gives a store-bought wreath a custom look.
