WOW! It was ugly! But the frame, springs and webbing were in great condition. Excellent job. Great save!

needed to do little tightening on webbing,,,was too loose, but you can see its sound condition, where all the leather and cushions was gone with mould and damages... when i buy second hand furniture first thing i do is to check frame is it not full of woodworm or dry rot..if they ok i buy it...fabrics im trying to get second hand on adverts so they half cheaper then in shops...i spent 200 e in total on this couch..where in shops you will pay over 1000 ....just need to construct pouf for it /and i have fabrics left over for another projects i have/antique day bed is next job and fold out bed they not bad condition just upholstery/ so im looking forward to it

i love restoring old furniture, because of the structure of them there is no plywood,,,its all sound and heavy based...so frame wont break easy....and the beauty in finished job is that its makes me happy...
