Bright and Fun Formal Dining Room Reveal

Medium
I wanted to share my Formal Dining Room Reveal today. It has definitely been a room that has come together over the last year. In May, my husband and I painted the walls, painted the built-in and all the trim (what a job!) and slowly decorated with what we had. Many of the pieces were secondhand that we updated. The goal of the space was to reflect us and to feel collected and vibrant. I think we have got there.

Adding the rug really helped up the comfort in this room.
The painting is a DIY that my husband did and the turtle shell is from Target. The sideboard is a $100 Craigslist find.
The built-in's were a major project. They were originally a cream color and we painted them bright white. They made a huge difference in the room once they were painted.
I brought the hen and chicks in for the winter and set them on a plant stand that I picked up on clearance.
I refinished the $10 Goodwill table and it is now one of my favorite pieces in the house.
I found the brown chairs on Craigslist for $2.50 each (CRAZY Price, right?) and recovered them.
The garden chairs are from Overstock and the curtains are from West Elm.
