    Try using bar keepers friend.Make a paste with water,apply to the sheets allowing to stay on long enough to aid in the removal of the grime.

    Scrub well each time you use it and you won't get this build up of gunk!!!!!

    Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide paste.. let sit for a bit then scrub with nylon scrubbie.

    i keep tellin ya when ya go to the 1 dollar store or hardware store. Pic up a dozen Med/fine grit sanding sponges You can use them dry or wet. Rinse and reuse them. I keep one at my sink all the time. They work great on copper pots and cast iron. You will be so happy that you bought a dozen.
